Note: Both versions were changed from air  wound coils to 1/2" ferrite rods for BC band. The Q is higher and thecoil is much more compact. A torroid like used in the Dual Tuned set would be even better.The circuit for this set is identical to the antenna section of the Dual Tuned set with a detector added.
